WHY THIS COURSE?

This intermediate-level course is designed for spirits enthusiasts and drinks professionals who want to move beyond the fundamentals and develop a more structured understanding of the world's major spirits. You'll explore how raw materials, fermentation, distillation and maturation influence spirit style and quality while building the skills to compare and assess spirits with confidence using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT).
Previous knowledge of spirits is recommended, such as WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits or equivalent experience, although no formal qualification is required.
